Ben Standing and Tim Edds
are Senior Associates at Browne-Jacobson Solicitors. A large part of Ben’s
specialism is in planning and environmental matters. This includes dealing with
land designations such as common land and sites of special scientific interest.
Nature conservation is a specific focus of Ben’s work. Ben acts for both public
sector and private sector clients and regularly advises on judicial review
claims. Tim Edds is a specialist in natural environment matters
involving assessments of public and administrative law risk, particularly those
with a Welsh devolution settlement or European compliance angle. He is
experienced in acting for both claimants and defendants in judicial review
proceedings.
Chris Forster Brown is
principal ecologist at ADAS. He has been a practicing ecologist for over 20
years. He has a particular specialism in the Ecological Impact Assessment
of large, infrastructure projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary EIA
team. These have included many renewable energy sites – wind, hydro and
solar as well as road schemes. His experience includes assessment of
Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and expert witness work.
