Accommodation

If you select a residential package, your accommodation will be located within Keynes College. A pleasant 10 minute walk will take you to the conference venue. For delegates that prefer not to walk, there will be a courtesy shuttle bus operating during peak times. All bedrooms are a single study bedroom with en-suite facilities including bed linen, towels, toiletry pack, tea & coffee supplies, mini fridge along with complimentary Wi-Fi. Hard wire is available so please ensure you bring your ethernet cable with you. Please note that breakfast will be served within Dolce Vita Restaurant.

Conference/Exhibition 

All plenary and workshop sessions along with exhibition and conference catering will take place within the Sibson Building. Opened in 2017. 

The new academic building for Kent Business School (KBS) and the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Actuarial Science (SMSAS) will create a vibrant new campus destination, bringing together academics, students, researchers and administrative staff from KBS and SMSAS.

Travel Information

Arriving by Rail: National Rail train service operates a direct route to Canterbury train station from London St Pancras. For further information please visit their website

Canterbury has two train stations:

Canterbury East
Regular domestic services to Dover Priory and London Victoria via Faversham, Chatham, Gillingham, Sittingbourne, Gravesend and Rochester.

Canterbury West
Regular domestic services to London Charing Cross, London Bridge and London Waterloo East; and to Maidstone East and West, Folkestone, Ashford International (for connection to East Sussex and the Eurostar) and Ramsgate.

The high-speed train service to London, St.Pancras takes less than one hour from Canterbury West. It stops at Ashford International, Stratford and Ebbsfleet International. There is a shopping centre near the Olympic Park in Stratford. You can change at Ashford and Ebbsfleet to connect to the Eurostar.

Arriving by Bus: Canterbury Campus is on all major bus routes. For further information please visit this website.

Arriving by Car: For those who prefer to travel by car please visit this website for further information. Complimentary parking is available on campus and identified on the map by the P, please follow the link to download University Campus Map. Please note that all spaces are based on a first come first served basis. Delegates will receive a car parking voucher in advance of the conference or at check-in which must be displayed on your vehicle during Friday only. 

Car sharing: You can help reduce transport impacts by offering to share a car. If you could offer a lift to others, or would be willing to car share, please let Red Pepper Events know and they’ll put you in touch with someone else travelling from your area.
